The Fifth Asia Nuclear Business Platform Held in Shanghai

The 5th Asia Nuclear Business Platform (ANBP 2017), which began in 2013, was held in Shanghai on May 17 and 18 of this year. Nearly 200 delegates from dozens of countries, especially Asia, participated in the conference, including China. More than 30 senior nuclear power experts including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, India, UAE, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea participated. The meeting discussed nuclear power industry chain issues including nuclear power R&D design, project contracting, financial support, equipment manufacturing, nuclear power materials, installation and commissioning, inspection and certification, and operation services. It also introduced the latest situation of the AP1000 system, the CAP1400 nuclear power plant and the nuclear accident in Fukushima, Japan.

Delegates also visited Shanghai Electric's nuclear power equipment manufacturing base.

Mr. LI  Zhijian and Mr. WANG  Yong of CSEI-ASME  were invited to participate in this forum. And as a representatives to they participated in the yacht reception hosted by the United States Consulate General in Shanghai for the forum.
