On April 12, 2018, the first working meeting of the ASME QME China International Working Group (CIWG QME) in 2018 was successfully held in Beijing. A total of nearly 30 participants from the CIWG QME committee and related units in the industry participated in the conference. The meeting was chaired by the chairman of the working group, Dou Yikang, chief engineer of Shanghai Power Generation Equipment Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., and vice chairman, deputy general manager of China Nuclear Power Technology Corp. Zhao Xia, deputy chief engineer of China National Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the host.

The focus of this meeting was to discuss the draft of the "Guidelines for the Identification of Civil Nuclear Safety Machinery and Equipment Similarity Methods". First of all, Zhang Xuesheng, the head of the Working Group of the Task Force of the Task Force, introduced the draft of the Exposure Draft. The delegates conducted in-depth discussions on the draft of the Exposure based on actual work experience. Taking into account the more mature identification of the valve, the meeting decided to form a working group of valve similarity assessment in the form of a case, led by China Nuclear Sosu, to study the similarity of valves, and conduct targeted cases at the next meeting. analysis.

The committee members also proposed that in addition to nuclear valves and pumps, the ASME QME-1 standard also applies to dampers. Taking into account the coverage of the CIWG QME, the working group proposes to add damper-related factory personnel to members of the CIWG QME at the next meeting. , and discussed the follow-up process of the working group members to improve the CIWG QME work system.
